This is a real story, starring my friend David and The Witch in the farm he was working.
David is a skilled man, he always has been very recursive and loves the manual work which he must use his imagination to to solve problems, what I’ll tell you next happened in one of his works.
He went to work to a farm to build a barnyard, it must be big with a special material, therefore, he stayed several days, his boss allocated a small house for the workers, is a small house, consisted of a room with two small beds and a bathroom.
The days went by, as expected, there were setbacks in David’s work, his assistant did not come to work or did not work at the necessary pace, forcing David to stay longer. However, he continues to working there waiting for help, the work was slow.
One night, David was finishing his labor day, it was a hard day; then, he went to bed just thinking that all he wanted in that moment was to lay down and rest.
When he closed his eyes, felt small stones thrown against the windows and the door. He thought that somebody is needed him and was calling him to come out, therefore he rushed out of the bed to find out what it was about.
He checked everywhere around the house, did not find anyone, he was angry but decided to back to bed to lay down again.
The next day David asked to other people in the farm if anyone had gone to the house the night before; the other workers answer no, surprised, because no one had left that place to the house.
That day, a friend that David calls to help him arrives, his name is Peter. David likes the way Peter works and he was sure that they can could advance faster. They shared the room, and always talked at night and told jokes until they fall asleep
In a few days they could see the result of their good work.
One of those nights, they were almost sleep and listen stones crashing on the window. They get up from the bed, await in silence without leaving the house.
Suddenly, they heard stones falling to the ceiling, it were bigger stones this time. That noise scare them a little, they looked each other and beckoned until they felt something that settled on the ceiling and walked slowly; it seemed like a heavy person. David and Peter left the house to watch and did not see nothing on the roof.
The next day talking about what happened the last night, they concluded what the best is to finish the work as soon as possible and leave the farm.
Since that, they slept less time to work more, they were already going to finish the work.
That night, in their ritual of talking, they were again interrupted by the stones.
… Total silence …
Suddenly, a big stone hit the house door, they hoped it would end soon and the sound would cease, whatever it was. But, this time was different, small stones fell inside the house over their beds.
They stood up from the beds, scared, turned on the lights to check that the windows and the door were properly closed; there’s no way that anybody else would be inside the house. Then they went back to bed, quite uneasy the rest of the night.
The next morning, David woke up, he feels very tired, like he had not stopped working and also had a dry mouth, next to him was Peter, very scared
David saw Peter and noticed how he looked at him, very pale with an expression of panic, Peter never looked like that, at east David don’t remember before.
-What’s up Peter?, whats wrong? – David asked.
Peter was speechless, it seems for a moment that he gathered his strength and says.
-Do you remember when we went to bed last night?, you fall asleep quickly, then i saw a shadow of a woman settle over you David- Peter was really scary but continues talking.
-She rise up her hands over your head, I felt an intense cold here while this was happening.
They knew that there is not a logical explanation to that, they had to finish the work.
David asked to his boss to let them to stay in the main house, they don’t want to spend another night in that small house, they were scared. He didn’t tell his boss anything, he had to lie, they knew that nobody will believe that story.
The day they ended the work, they were having lunch with other workers.
One of them said that it seemed that there is a witch in the farm hanging around the farm those days. David and Peter were there just listening, when they heard that they froze.
They asked David what happen, David told what happened days before in the small house and the stones that something throw inside the house.
The other workers listened, and suggested David that they have probably meet The Witch in the farm and David and Peter will be her next victims, the best thing they can do is leave that farm as fast as they can.
Luckily they ended the work and never again came back there, of course, nobody would want to do it.
